About Me

I live with my husband in Welwyn Garden City. We have three adult children, so have been through all stages of family life within a home. From a growing young family when organisation was needed for toys and the never ending growing out of clothes, and then through the teenage years with the growing trainer collections left in the hall and areas required for quiet study and privacy. Now in our home with just my husband, with extra space but making sure not to fill those areas with unnecessary clutter!

I have always enjoyed organising, sorting through cupboards and wardrobes regularly, and have spent years helping family and friends with theirs too. It’s my relaxation and mindful time, getting everything in order - and in turn my mind too!

I think my organising traits stem from growing up with undiagnosed Dyslexia and ADHD. I always had a place for everything and needed to be organised. I felt if I could try and control my personal surroundings, my mind would be in a clearer place for the things that I found more challenging.

I do believe an organised, calm environment helps everyone function better in their everyday lives in a more purposeful and mindful way.
